Personal:

Childhood:

My interest in healthy eating began as a child, and was instinctively drawn to platefuls of vegetables instead of conventional meals. When I wasn’t eating beets I was dancing or swimming for hours on end.  I had an acute preoccupation with writing long juicy entries in my journal, which was the beginning of my spirit journey.

Young adult:

Raised by religious parents, I attended a metaphysical church throughout my formative years.  I read Jonathan Livingston Seagull and The Road Less Travelled in my late teens, and my eyes were opened to knowledge of an even higher order.

Spiritual:

The lessons of Shamanism, Zen Buddhism, Law of Attraction, Toltec Wisdom and many others have developed my present perspective on life. And I keep it light by laughing a lot.

Wellness philosophy:

I believe that one’s life can shift dramatically if one feels the Universe supports them.  I also realize that humans sometimes feel trapped and helpless, or (even worse) apathetic about their lives. All that’s missing is a higher level of self-love and self-care.  So I gently guide students through small changes that add up to big results.

Writing:

I’ve been writing for over forty years, from memoir and creative pieces to online newsletters, magazines and blogs.  Writing has always set my mind and spirit free; it dissolves whatever is bugging me and builds whatever I dream.

Personal:

My home is in Fairfield, CT, shared with my husband, 2 young adult daughters, 2 labradoodle puppies and 3 cats.
